ال آروادی در باور مردمان آذربایجان نام موجودی است که تنها در کوه‌ها زندگی می‌کند.
این موجود برای زنانی که تازه زایمان کرده‌اند خطرناک است، بر اساس شنیده‌ها به خانه‌های روستایی وارد می‌شود، در دهان زائو زغال می‌گذارد تا دهانش باز بماند و سپس جگر زائو را بیرون کشیده و می‌خورد.
در شنیده‌های دیگری، آل آروادی نوزادان تازه متولد شده را با خود می‌برد.
در روایات دیگر، این موجود سینه‌های درازی دارد که دور گردنش پیچیده شده، آسیبی به انسان نمی‌رساند و تنها او را می‌ترساند. اما اگر انسانی را در کوه گیر بیندازد، او با خود به چاه محل زندگی‌اش می‌برد و از او برای کندن و بزرگ کردن چاه بیگاری می‌کشد.

Aal Arvadi, in the beliefs of the people of Azarbayjan (Northwestern Iran), is the name of a Jinn that lives in the mountains. People say this creature is dangerous to women who have just given birth. According to legends, Aal Arvadi enters village homes and stuffs the new mother's mouth with charcoal that her mouth is kept wide open. Then she reaches inside the body of the victim through her mouth, takes out the liver, and eats it. Some believe that this creature also takes the newborns. They say this creature has such long breasts that she can throw them over her shoulders. Other than toward new mothers and newborns, she is said to be usually passive toward humans, but if she catches someone in the mountains, she will take them to the well near her house and force them to dig more and make her well bigger.
