در افسانه‌های مردم رامیان استان گلستان این داستان نقل می‌شود که فاطماخانم دختر زیبایی بود که با نامادری‌اش زندگی می‌کرد. فاطماخانم نامزد شاهزاده بود و نامادری به همین دلیل به او حسادت می‌کرد. نامادری در شب عروسی به فاطماخانم لبلبو ( تمشک) می‌خوراند تا دختر شکم‌روش بگیرد. شب که دختر به بستر شاهزاده می‌رود حالش بد می‌شود و در خواب بستر را کثیف می‌کند. فردا صبح شاهزاده فکر می‌کند که آن خراب‌کاری کار خودش بوده. با خجالت به فاطماخانم می‌گوید که پنهانی رختخواب را بشوید و اگر به کسی چیزی نگوید سرتاپای او را طلا می‌گیرد و او را سوگلی خودش می‌کند. فاطماخانم پذیرفت و شاهزاده نیز به قول خود وفا کرد.
نامادری بعد از چند روز که فاطماخانم را می‌بیند از او می‌پرسد: "لبلبوها با تو چه کردند؟" فاطماخانم هم می‌گوید: "مرا ملکه و صاحب جواهرات کردند!"
نامادری از شدت حسادت او را در تنور زندانی می‌کند. جارچی‌ها به دستور شاهزاده در شهر دنبال فاطماخانم می‌گردند. خروسی که متوجه قضیه شده بود، قوقولی‌قوقو می‌کند و با آواز جای فاطماخانم را به جارچی‌ها اطلاع می‌دهد.

According to the people of Ramian, there was a girl named Fatimah-Khanum living with her stepmother. Her stepmother was jealous of her because Fatimah-Khanum was the prince's fiancee. On the night of the wedding, her stepmother decided to give Fatimah-Khanum something that would cause her diarrhea, and she gave her raspberries to eat.

That night, when Fatimah-Khanum went to bed, she got a stomachache. While she and the prince were sleeping, she soiled the bed. In the morning, the prince saw the bed and thought it was his doing. Embarrassed and frustrated, he told Fatimah-Khanum that "if you'd agree to clean this mess without telling anyone, I'd cover you in gold and choose you as my favorite wife." Fatimah-Khanum accepted the condition and the prince kept his promise.

A few days later, the stepmother met Fatimah-Khanum and asked her, "What did those raspberries do to you?"
Fatimah-Khanum answered, "They made me a queen!"
Filled with jealousy, her stepmother locked her up in a Tannour (an oven made of clay). Later when the prince found out about the incident, he ordered the heralds to look for Fatimah-Khanum. A rooster noticed the situation and started singing until the heralds found her.
