حَله‌پوستی در باورهای مردم خراسان جنوبی، به ویژه در شهر قائن نام هیولایی است که پوستی وحشتناک دارد. این هیولا هنگامی که این شعر خوانده شود به سراغ کودکان فضول و بی‌تربیت می‌رود:
حله پوستی
بیا پوز خو دراز کن
---- مار ببر جون مار خلاص کو
معنی شعر این است که حله‌پوستی بیا دهانت را دراز کن و این بچه ( نام بچه را در شعر می گذارند) را ببر و ما را از دستش خلاص کن.

[Hale Pusti], according to the beliefs of the people of southern Khorasan, is the name of a creature with terrifying skin. It goes to nosy and rude kids whenever this song is sung: "Hale Pusti, Come and stretch your mouth open, Take *the child's name* away and free us of the burden."
