Kheir-o-shar | خیروشر | گجه‌شری

در روایتی از میان مردمان آذربایجان، موجودی به نام «خیروشر» وجود داشته که نزدیک به صبح وقتی هوا «گرگ و میش» بوده در شمایل مردی ظاهر می‌شده. این موجود انسان نما اینگونه توصیف شده که اگر به انسانی برخورد کند از او ساعت را جویا می‌شود. وقتی فرد ساعت را به او می‌گوید، او شروع به رشد می‌کند و آنقدر دراز می‌شود تا قدش به آسمان می‌رسد. وی سپس ناپدید می‌شود. گفته می‌شود که هر انسانی آن را ببیند از ترسش بیهوش می‌شود.

There is a creature named 'Kheir-o-Shar' (meaning 'good and evil'). This creature appears in the twilight as a man. If he encounters a human and the human notices him, he asks about the time. When the human tells him the time, he grows so tall that he reaches the skies and then he disappears. Whoever sees him, faints out of fear.
