Pouladvand | پولادوند

در منظومه حماسی برزو‌نامه پولادوند دیوی است که دشمن رستم است. رستم برای سپردن ببربیان ( زره معروفش) به برزو پسر سهراب، برای او شرط می گذارد که به جنگ پولادوند برود. برزو با سپاهی عازم چین می‌شود و در راه با دیوی برخورد می‌کند. برزو ضمن معرفی خود به دیو، به او می‌گوید که برای بردن سر پولادوند به کشور چین آمده است. این دیو که خودِ پولادوند بوده خشمگین می‌شود و آن دو با هم گلاویز می‌شوند. چون به نتیجه‌ای نمی‌رسند نبرد را به روز دیگری موکول می‌کنند اما این جنگ ادامه دار می‌شود. در نهایت پولادوند و برزو با یکدیگر کشتی می‌گیرند و برزو پیروز می‌گردد.

In the epic of Borzu-nama, there's a Div named Puladvand. He is the enemy of Rostam. In this story, Rostam had a famous armor named Babr-e-Bayan. To pass it on to his grandson Borzu, he forces a condition. Borzu had to challenge Puladvand to a battle to receive the armor.

Borzu accepts the condition and leads an army to China. On the way, he encounters a Div. He introduces himself and explains he's there to behead Puladvand. The Div, being Puladvand himself, gets furious, and they begin to fight. After fighting for some time, they decide to postpone it to another day, and the battle continues. In the end, they begin to wrestle, and Borzu manages to defeat Puladvand.
