Let’s help imagine a bright future for our nations by looking at the beauty of our culture and the promise of the future generation of Iranians and Afghans.

شما یک ایرانی یا افغان هستید که در هر جای دنیا زندگی می کنید

شما دانش آموز دبیرستان و یا دانشجوی دانشگاه هستید

به هر ترتیب باید حداکثر ۲۵ سال داشته باشید

به نوشتن علاقه دارید و میخواهید یک آینده ی زیبا و جالب در قالب یک داستان کوتاه برای نسل خود تصور کنید

• You are an Iranian or Afghan living anywhere in the world.

• You are a high school student, or in collage, either way, you must be 25 and under.

• You are a writer, novelist, or just simply good at writing. You are interested in spending hours and hours imagining a story in which a magical and attractive image of the future is put into a cohesive short story.

طول پیشنهادی: 1000 کلمه (3-5 صفحه)

موضوع: تصور آینده ای روشن - می تواند علمی تخیلی ، حماسی یا حتی فانتزی یا واقع گرایانه باشد

داستان های ارسالی باید یا به زبان انگلیسی یا فارسی باشد

باید توسط شخص نویسنده ارسال شود و پیش تر منتشر نشده باشد

مهلت ارسال: اردیبهشت 30 (ثور) - 20 می

شرکت کنندگان حقوق مرتبط به داستان خود را حفظ می کنند

شرکت کنندگان به انستیتو فارسی حق نشر را به صورت آنلاین و چاپی می دهند
انستیتو فارسی کار شما را بدون تأیید شما منتشر نمی کند

Recommended length: 1,000 words (3-5 pages)

Topic: Imagining a Bright Future - this can be Sci-fi, fantasy or non-fiction.

Submissions must be in English or Farsi. 

Must be an original short story, written by the submitted. No previously published short stories

Deadline to submit: before Wednesday March 20th

Participants retain rights to their submissions.

Participants grant Farsi Institute allowance to share short stories online and in print. We will not publish your work without further approval.

Winners will get a cash prize and a chance to have their essays published in a book of essays.

College/Graduate Student Category

2 Winners - one Afghan and one Iranian, each receive $300 USD

High school Student Category

4 Winners - 2 Iranians and 2 Afghans. Each receive $100 USD
