شِو‌َهه موجودی است که نامش در بین اهالی کردستان شنیده می‌شود، شوهه همیشه در کمین نوزادان تازه متولد شده، معمولا نوزادان زیر یک سال بود. اگر نوزاد در اتاقی تنها می‌ماند ممکن بود شِو‌َهه به او حمله کند. بنابراین هر زمان نوزادی فوت می‌شد، می‌گفتند شوهه بچه را برده است. گویا شوهه توسط اهالی کردستان دیده نشده و شمایل ظاهری او تا الان تعریف نشده ولی مردم شدیدا باور داشتند که مرگ تمام نوزادان که آثار مریضی نداشتند و یا در اثر تصادف و حادثه خاصی نبوده، بر اثر حمله شوهه بوده است.

You might hear the name 'Shevahe' among the people from Kurdistan province (Placed in the western part of Iran). It's the name of a creature that kills or takes newborns or children under the age of one. It would attack infants left alone in a room. If an infant died, they said that 'Shevahe' was the one who took the baby.
Apparently, none of the Kurdish people have ever seen Shevahe, and there's no visual description for it, but they highly believe that 'Shevahe' is behind the death of infants who were not sick or were not killed by some accident.
