Daghlar Gulu | داغلار گولو

داغلار گولو حیوانی افسانه‌ایست که نامش در شهر ماکو در استان آذربایجان غربی و چندین شهر و روستای اطراف آن شنیده شده است.
این حیوان که در اصل یک نوع گرگ است، مانند آدمیزاد حرف می‌زند و راه می‌رود. داغلار گولو مدافع طبیعت است و با لباس طلایی-سبز خود در کوه‌ها پرسه می‌زند و شکارچیان و کسانی که به طبیعت و کوه آسیب می‌زنند را شناسایی می‌کند.
داغلار گولو به عنوان مجازات،ابتدا زبان این انسان‌ها را می‌خورد تا نتوانند فریاد بزنند. سپس آرام آرام بدنشان را در حالی‌که زنده‌اند می‌خورد و در نهایت جسدشان را روی پشت‌بام منزل پدری‌شان می‌اندازد.

There's a myth in Maku, a city in the West Azerbaijan province in Iran, about a creature named Daghlar-Gulu or Dayhlar-Guli that speaks like a human and defends nature. This humanoid wolf wanders in the mountains, wearing a gold and green outfit. Whenever Daghlar-Gulu sees a hunter, a groundsman, or anyone harming nature, it eats them. It normally starts with eating their tongue so that they won't scream. It then starts eating other parts of their body in front of them and hangs their corpse from the roof of their father's house.
