در قصه‌های مردمان بروجرد، شخصیتی به نام «دیگ به سر» وجود دارد. این شخصیت انسانی بوده با دست‌هایی سیاه که قربانیانش اغلب کودکان بوده‌اند. جالب اینجاست که این قصه‌ها را برای خواباندن کودکان تعریف می‌کردند.
گاهی والدین دیگی روی سر خود گذاشته و پارچه یا چادری روی سر خود می‌کشیدند تا بیشتر به «دیگ به سر» شبیه شوند.

In the tales of the people of Borujerd (western Iran), there is a character named [Dig Be Sar] which means [cauldron/pot on the head]. It was often described as a human figure with black hands whose victims were mostly children. Interestingly, these stories were told to lull children to sleep. Sometimes parents would put a pot on their heads to look like [Dig Be Sar].
