در باور مردمان روستای سمغان (شهرستان کوهچنار، استان فارس) موجودی با بدن پرنده و سر بز وجود داشته است. به گفته اهالی روستا در کوهستان پرندهای وجود دارد که چوپان گلهی اجنه است و صدایی شبیه به بز دارد.

According to the people living in Somghān village (Fars province, southwestern Iran), there's a creature with the body of a bird and the head if a goat. According to the villagers, there's some type of bird living in the mountains that sounds like a goat and keeps an eye on the herd of the Jins.
