Mikhkuyak میخکویَک

در باور مردمان بامیان افغانستان میخکویَک یا میخ کوبَک نام موجودی است کم دیده شده، کوچک و پشمالو که برخی شبیه به انسان وصف میکرده اند. برخی روایت می‌کنند که این موجود شب ها در طویله می‌آمده و تا صبح صدای ناهنجار تولید میکرده. این صدا به چیزی شبیه کوفتن تکه چوب به زمین یا کوبیدن میخ با چکش وصف می‌شده.
باور بوده که کسی که او را ببیند و چشم در چشمش شود دیوانه می‌شود.

There is a creature called 'Mikh kubak' in Afgan mythology. They say that it comes to the stables at night and pounds on the floor. The pounding sound is similar to someone driving a nail with a hammer. Nobody wants to face this creature because everybody believes that if you look at it, you will become insane. Some have described it as a short creature that looks like a man with a lot of hair. It pounds on the floor with a piece of wood or stone, and if it looks at you, you will become insane.
