مول روایتی است در میان مردم اصفهان
مردم بر این باور بودند که گاهی برخی از زنان به جای نوزاد عادی مول به دنیا می آورند.
روایت مول این چنین بود که، مول با خوردن جنین انسان جایگزین او در بدن زنان میشد و زودتر از زمان زایمان متولد میشد.
مول به محض تولد و خروج از بدن مادر، خود را به دیوار رسانده و از آن بالا میرفته است.
مردم باور داشتند که باید به سرعت این موجود را کشت و دفن کرد.
این روایت زمانی ترس فراوان در زنان باردار و خانواده های آنان به وجود می آورد.

In the belief of the Isfahani people (central Iran), there is a creature called Mool. He is a creature with the body of a mouse or a lizard with a head similar to a human baby. People believe that sometimes some women give birth to a Mool instead of a normal baby. The mole eats the fetus in the womb of a mother and replaces it in the mother's body. The child is born earlier than the birth time, and as soon as it is born and leaves the mother's body, it reaches the wall and climbs over it. People believe that this creature should be killed and buried quickly. This narrative creates fear in pregnant women and their families.
